1. Meeting of Technical Taskforce

From 25.-26.07.2017 the first meeting of the Technical Taskforce was hosted. The goal of this taskforce is to jointly develop the UCAN tools and strengthen the UCAN network.

In a workshop, relevant issues for the future conditions of use of the ItemManagementSystem (IMS) were discussed. Various approaches were debated and a first proposal for consideration by a legal representative was developed. The workshop “Meet the Developer” offered the participants an intensive exchange with the software developers of the UCAN team. Specific questions could be asked and current challenges of the respective partner faculty could be solved. Afterwards the workshop “Examinator³” was on the agenda. Here, ideas and requests for changes to the surface of the examinator were developed in small groups. At the request of the participants, the topic “Building a knowledge base” was taken up. The basic idea is: “Share the experience, share the knowledge, share the documentation, share the failures.” Subsequently, tasks to optimize the IMS were defined and prioritized in collaboration of the present UCAN partners. The Taskforce Technique outlines as a representative for all UCAN partner the common direction for the next development steps.
