Faculty internal examinations at the German medical faculties

With the revised medical licensing regulations in 2002, the faculty internal examinations in the clinical study section gained considerable importance. They should reflect the strengthening of the practical relevance of medical education and are part of the final certificate. In order to gain an overview of how the “examination culture” developed at the medical faculties, a survey was conducted in autumn 2007 at all medical faculties in Germany
