Invitation and registration for the Scientific UCAN Conference 2023

Dear UCAN Partners,

we are pleased to invite you to this year’s Scientific UCAN Conference under the theme “Interprofessional Thinking – Teaching, Learning and Testing Interprofessionality”. The conference will take place on 28 and 29 September 2023 in Hamburg.

Climate change, demographic developments, health economic crises, the discussion about digitalisation and the restructuring of health care with a worldwide lack of health professionals are presenting our society with new challenges and require an adaptation and reorientation of education and training in the health professions. The health of people and the planet are at unprecedented risk. Isolated, mono-professional and national approaches are not up to these challenges. The necessary transformation in the health professions requires interprofessional and international alignment in educational outcomes. Good assessments are the most efficient tool for the redesign of curricula, the interprofessional coordination of training objectives and the feedback to trainees and students.

Together with you, we would like to discuss across professional groups in order to strengthen the integration of interprofessional cooperation in the health professions, work on concrete tasks and thus create the basis for achieving the necessary transformation and mastering the new challenges.
