Announcement: Student, competence-based Progresstest 2017
The Progresstest is aimed for students of human medicine from all semester stages and offers them the opportunity to measure their knowledge growth annually. The test level corresponds to the knowledge of a graduate of Human Medicine.
The voluntary and formative Progresstest was within the framework of the BMBF-funded project “Merlin” (Baden-Württemberg) and was designed together with students from various faculties and further developed over the past three years with the intensive support of the UCAN network. The special feature of this test is that the exam questions are prepared by trained students and reviewed by experts. The exam questions are based on the “National Competency-based Learning Objective Catalog in Medicine (NKLM)” and the Licensure Code for Physicians (ÄAppO).
The student progression test is offered online-based. The students will be given a total of 3 hours to complete the test. After evaluating the test results, the participating students will receive individual feedback. Furthermore, the participating faculties receive the results of their students in comparison with the results of the other participating faculties. Due to the online-based orientation, the preparation, implementation and follow-up work for the faculties is associated with very little work. Further information on the test can be found on our UCAN homepage.
The next student, competence-based progression test will be available in November 2017. The exact time period will be sent to you in a timely manner. If you are interested in participating in the Progresstest, please contact Stefan Wagener (stefan.wagener@med.uni-heidelberg.de).
