In the period from 29 February 2020 to 4 March 2020, the next Ottawa Conference will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the motto “Assessment of health professionals and evaluation programmes: Best practice and future development”. Visit our UCAN team there at booth no.13 and exchange information about the latest developments in the Assessment Consortium!

For the tenth anniversary of the Leipzig Veterinary Congress, UCAN will be represented for the first time in cooperation with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Leipzig with an exhibition booth as one of 250 exhibitors.

The year is slowly coming to an end and together we can look back on many positive events. On behalf of the entire UCAN Team, we would like to thank you for the great confidence you have placed in us and for the good cooperation within the assessment network.
Christmas is now a good opportunity to rest and recharge our batteries for new tasks and actions in the new year. With this in mind, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a successful start in 2020.

The Medical Faculty of Göttingen carried out its 1,000th electronic exam with campus! We are impressed by this number and look forward to further great suggestions.

We would like to congratulate the Faculty of Medicine Bochum for conducting the 5,000th electronic exam within the UCAN network.

The 6th working meeting of the Taskforce Technique will take place on 28th and 29th November 2019. We would be delighted if we could welcome a large number of technical contacts from the partner faculties and institutions to our meeting. Register now for the meeting!

On 11 October 2019, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the LMU Munich performed a tEXAM written exam with 30 questions and 258 participants on the topic “Professional Law of Veterinary Medicine”. We say congratulations and keep up the good work… 
The University of Medicine and Pharmacy Târgu Mureș Romania held the 5,000th exam in 2019 on November 23, 2019.

The Toolbox, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Health and the Robert Bosch Foundation, offers teachers and assessors the opportunity to integrate communicative and interprofessional skills into their training curricula. Existing resources are bundled and the quality of medical conversation and interprofessional cooperation and communication is standardised.

In 2018, the student competence-oriented Progress Test contained 120 MC questions, 10 SJT questions and four Key Feature cases (with a total of 18 individual questions) for the first time.
